You add new items to the agenda by clicking on (the top item in the agenda on the left), which then displays various categories of activities you might want to perform. You then choose a category, and continue choosing from more specific sub-categories, until you are shown lists of individual activities to select from. When you find an activity you want to perform, select it from the list and click on , which will then add the selected activity to the agenda. You can use and to move up and down through the categories of agenda items to select the activity you want to work on next.
The agenda item categories are as follows:
Content allows you to set up corporate information for delivery to mobile users. You may do any of the following:
Deliver new content to users
Reports (see Section 5.1, “Introduction To Report Configuration” for an introduction to report configuration)
Databases (see Section 6.1, “Introduction To Database Query Configuration” for an introduction to database query configuration)
Web sites (see Section 8.1, “Introduction to Web Site Configuration” for an introduction to web site configuration)
XML Web services (see Section 7.1, “Introduction to XML Web Services Configuration” for an introduction to XML web services configuration)
Change existing content
Reports. Change content that is distributed to mobile users, including business intelligence reports.
Reconfigure a report . Change the name of a report, who receives it, how data is taken from spreadsheets, and how data is presented to users.
Update data in a report . Update a report by uploading or emailing new data.
Remove a report permanently . Delete a report configuration and all its data.
Change report recipients . Change the users and groups that receive a report.
Database connections and queries. Reconfigure connections to databases and edit database queries.
Edit a database connection . Change how to connect to a database, including server name and connection properties.
Delete database connection . Delete a connection to a database permanently.
Edit a database query . Modify an existing database query, including query inputs and results.
Delete database query . Delete a database query permanently.
Web sites. Reconfigure Web site content including Web page formats and recorded Web macros.
Edit Web site configuration . Change the name of a Web site, its page formats, and recorded macros or what tasks from the site are available to users.
Delete Web site configuration . Delete a Web site configuration permanently.
XML Web services. Update (re-upload) or delete data service (WSDL) files.
Update a data service file . Update an existing data service configuration (WSDL) file by uploading a replacement.
Delete a data service file . Delete a previously uploaded data service configuration (WSDL) file permanently.
Tasks and alerts. Reconfigure interactive tasks that users select from menus and the way alerts are displayed to users.
Which tasks appear in the main task menu. Change the order and labels for tasks on a user's main task menu.
What a task does. Change how a task connects to external content or how it filters and adapts that content.
Who is allowed to execute tasks. Review all tasks and the users and groups that are allowed to perform each task.
The way data and alerts are displayed. Select a data format and change how it is displayed, including customizing field labels and context menus.
Review content available to users .

Which users receive which reports. Review recipients of all reports.
Get help and solve problems.

Request support or make a suggestion. Request help from the Mobile Dashboard support team or make a suggestion for improvement.
People and Access allows you to view, edit, add or remove end users and organize users into groups. Groups enable you to easily select sets of users to receive content. Specifically, you can:
Add or remove users. Grant or revoke access to users of the Mobile Dashboard, lookup or change profile information for existing users, and provide credentials to enable user access to external systems.
View or change user information . Lookup or change profile information for existing users and provide credentials to enable user access to external systems.
Organize users into groups. Manage access to content by organizing users into groups.
My Profile enables you to set your individual profile information. Here the options are:
View or change my profile. Manage your user profile information including email address, optional role, password, and credentials for accessing external systems.
View or change my domain. Change the domain for my user profile, which determines the content I will see on my device.
[My] Account allows (only) the account administrator to do the following:
View usage reports. View resource usage reports for the account.
Review or change account plan . Review the plan for the account and the allowed resource limits.
Report an issue. Report an issue or problem with the Mobile Dashboard.
Review or change domains. Review all domains in the account, add a new domain, or edit an existing domain.
Fine Tuning is for the more experienced administrator. It provides an alternative organization of tasks (activities) that enables the experienced administrator to easily get to tasks of interest. We recommend that new administrators first follow the normal step-by-step guided procedures in setting up content, before exploring this more-advanced option.
