This page describes a part of the Mobile Dashboard's process for configuring database queries. For an introduction to the database query configuration process, see Section 6.1, “Introduction To Database Query Configuration”. For a general introduction to the online help manual, see Section 1.1, “Mobile Dashboard Online Help Manual Overview”.

Here you provide a name for a new database connection or edit the name of an existing database connection.

If this is a new connection, click on Select Database Connection Name. A Select Database Connection Name and Location pop-up window allows you to enter the connection name. You can also create folders in the pop-up window if you want to organize your database connections into folders. If the connection already has a name, you can change it by clicking on Change Database Connection Name. The same pop-up window allows you to edit the connection name

The Description field can be used to describe the connection, in case the name is insufficient. The description is solely for your use and is not seen by any end users.
