You can create a new promotion code on this page. A promotion code is required to create a new account. (Only one account is allowed for the single-tenant virtual appliance version of the Mobile Dashboard.) You can set the various parameters on this page or use the specified defaults.
At this point you are only creating a new promotion code, not an actual account (the latter is done from the login page, see Section 4.11, “Create Account”).
The General Information field allows you to enter an identifier or description for the account you plan to create. It is for your use only, e.g., when you view the list of accounts.
In Resource Limits, you can specify the following limits:
Number of Users: Maximum number of users currently allocated for this account. This includes all account and domain administrators.
Number of Reports: Maximum number of reports to be uploaded, configured and saved within this account.
Number of Report Updates Per Month : Maximum number of times reports are updated per month. Updates include both those sent via email to the Mobile Dashboard and those uploaded via the Mobile Dashboard website.
Serialized Dataset Size (bytes): Maximum size of the XML data set for a report that gets sent to end user's mobile devices.
Imported Spreadsheet Size (bytes) : Maximum size of the spreadsheet (in bytes) that is uploaded or sent via email to the Mobile Dashboard.
In Account Plan, you can specify the following items:
Type of account plan: Select whether the account's monthly cost is the Standard Monthly, determined by Negotiated Terms (Custom), or is a Free Trial.
Cluster for the account: Specify the cluster for this account, see Section 4.12, “Clusters”.
