This page describes a part of the Mobile Dashboard's process for configuring reports. For an introduction to the report configuration process, see Section 5.1, “Introduction To Report Configuration”. For an example of how a report can be configured, see Section 5.28, “Report Configuration Example”. For a general introduction to the online help manual, see Section 1.1, “Mobile Dashboard Online Help Manual Overview”.
When users view the report on their devices, it is important to let them know what version of the report they are viewing. This item allows you to specify how users will distinguish different versions of the report.
There are two options:
Date (default option): You can simply use the date the report is uploaded to the Mobile Dashboard and distributed to users. (Note that each time the report is updated, so too is the date.)
Cell: You can specify a cell in the spreadsheet that uniquely labels this report (e.g., the spreadsheet may contain a version number or date within it). Click on the appropriate cell within the spreadsheet (the selected cell will be shown in the Value field). You can also change the label to be shown with the selected value (by editing the Label field).
