This page describes a part of the Mobile Dashboard's process for configuring XML Web Services. Set the properties of the field as indicated on the page.
Field is not suitable for display: if checked, the field will not be visible on the mobile device.
Field cannot be modified by user: if checked, the field will not be modifiable on the mobile device.
Relative importance: if a very large number of fields are present, then under unusual circumstances, some of the fields may be automatically shown on a separate screen on the mobile device. Which fields are automatically assigned to separate screen(s) are determined by their relative importance settings. The most important fields will be kept on the first screen. This setting is very rarely needed.
Field is a password if checked, the field contents will be shown as asterisks on the mobile device.
Field is the URL of an image: if checked, the image at the URL specified by the field value will be shown on the mobile device, in place of the URL itself.
Field contents are grouped in categories: if checked, groups of sub-fields underneath this field will be shown using a category selector on the mobile device, with the selector havng the specified name. Note that this property must be set on the base of the data format to which it should apply, which will typically be an output data format for a Web service or database query.
