This page describes a part of the Mobile Dashboard's process for configuring web sites. For an introduction to the web site configuration process, see Section 8.1, “Introduction to Web Site Configuration”. You begin the configuration process by creating a new starting point for a web site. Click on to create a new configuration.
If configurations already exist, you will see entries in the Starting Points table. You can then or an existing configuration.
If the Web site requires logging in, check the checkbox. This means that every page on the web site requires the same login in order to access it. When you attempt to enter the site, and it asks for login credentials, you will be placed in the process for recording a macro. You should then record a macro which logs into the site, but the macro must obey the following restrictions:
If a web site has some compatibility issues, e.g., between Internet Explorer and FireFox, the a JavaScript compatibility script may be supplied using the . This JavaScript code will be added to a copy of the HTML source code of every page of the Web site as it is loaded.
The page formats listed in the Page Formats table are those defined for the selected starting point. You may any existing page format. You may also select a starting point or a page format and use to remove the selected item.
